Private Label Industry Prepares for Second Annual Store Brands Month
NEW YORK (May 15, 2025) – Extensive promotional plans across all retail formats are underway for the second annual national Store Brands Month in January 2026. Retailers, manufacturers and service providers are developing engaging in-store events and social media content to promote the quality, value and uniqueness of private label products directly to consumers.

Parma Ham Marks Key Milestone in its Ecological Evolution
The Parma Ham Consortium today announced it has completed a multi-year project to support the ecological transition of its companies, reaffirming its commitment to the environment.
Launched in 2022, the project set out to define an environmental policy for the Parma Ham sector to help optimize its sustainability performance.
The Parma PDO protection body brought in several partners that are highly qualified, recognized authorities for the multi-phase project. The Politecnico di Milano supported the definition and implementation phase, while its spin-off Enersem collaborated on the development of the software envisaged by the research. Parmigiano Reggiano Reports 3.2 Billion Turnover in 2024 With Strong Export Gains
Milan, 17 April 2025– During the annual press conference at Palazzo Giureconsulti in Milan, the Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium reported its 2024 performance results. Despite a challenging geopolitical environment, uncertainty in international markets and concerns over increasing trade restrictions, overall, the turnover at consumption reached a historic high of 3.2 billion Euros compared to 3.05 billion in 2023, with an increase of 4.9%. Total sales volumes grew by 9.2% supported by a strong performance in the domestic market (+5.2%) and even more so in exports (+13.7%).
