Sysco Agrees to Acquire Hawaii-Based HFM FoodService
HOUSTON, Oct. 17, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sysco Corporation (NYSE:SYY) today announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire HFM FoodService, a Hawaii-based broadline distributor with approximately $290 million in annual sales.
HFM FoodService was founded as a flour mill in 1964 and has grown into one of the largest foodservice distributors in the state of Hawaii, and the only one with operations on all four major Hawaiian Islands and Guam.

Columbus Craft Meats Growth Drives Second Plant Expansion in Three Years
HAYWARD, Calif., Sept. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- To help meet high customer demand for its products, Columbus Craft Meats announced on Tuesday that it has completed a $16 million expansion at the company's state-of-the-art salami curing facility in Hayward, California. JAB Completes Acquisition of Panera Bread Company
ST. LOUIS, MO, July 18, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Panera Bread Company ("Panera" or the "Company") (NASDAQ:PNRA) and JAB today announced the successful completion of the acquisition of Panera by an investment vehicle of JAB Consumer Fund and JAB Holding Company. Danone announces sale of Stonyfield to Lactalis
Paris, France - July 3rd, 2017 - Danone has entered into a binding agreement with Lactalis to sell Stonyfield, one of its U.S. dairy subsidiaries, for a purchase price of $875 million, representing 20 times its EBITDA in 2016.
Stonyfield generated approximately $370 million in turnover in 2016.
The divestiture is part of the agreement reached on March 31st, 2017 with the U.S. Department of Justice ("DOJ") in connection with Danone's recently closed acquisition of WhiteWave.
